Preparing an NIH F-Series Grant Application

Why apply to fellowships? How do you best describe you and your project to secure funding? What are the NIH F-series grants, and how do you apply to them? This workshop prepares pre- and postdoctoral students for the upcoming NIH deadline and provides the additional opportunity for personal consultations on draft proposals.

This workshop will include three one-hour didactic seminars that walk participants through the process of preparing and writing an NIH F-series grant application. It is being offered on a schedule designed to help participants meet the April 10, 2023 NIH deadline. In addition to the seminars, up to eight participants may also sign up to work alongside the seminars to prepare their own proposal and submit drafts to be discussed with the instructor in three, one-on-one consultations. These consultations will be 30-60 minutes in length and be scheduled during the week after each seminar.
