Session Descriptions

Session 1: From Dream to Reality

“If you have a big enough dream, you don’t need a crisis.”
– Psychologist, Jerry Wesch.

In this first session, you will focus on understanding and nurturing what drives you: what you are running towards (your dream) and what you are running from (your nightmare); you must know both. You will learn how to articulate your big dreams with clarity and conviction, allowing them to serve as a guide in your life and work. Through reflective and interactive exercises and group discussions, we will explore the concept that a compelling vision (of both the dream and the nightmare) can preempt crises, steering your life toward fulfillment and success. The goal of this session is to help you begin developing a comprehensive life aim that integrates your dreams and safeguards against potential pitfalls, empowering you to live and work with purpose, resilience, and wholeheartedness.

Session 2: Essentials of Health and Wellbeing

“The intersection of work and life needs some work.”
– Jim Harter, Gallup’s chief workplace scientist

It’s life-work balance not work-life balance. There is no work without life. In this second session, you will prioritize you, and your life. You will embark on defining and prioritizing the foundational elements necessary for your health and wellbeing. It is essential you have clarity on what sustains and nurtures you most in your personal life and what you will no longer sacrifice or live without. Therefore, we will delve into identifying your non-negotiables (self, health, relationships, and more) across different time frames (what you need daily, weekly, monthly, and annually). Through guided exercises and reflective practices, the goal of this session is to support you in crafting a personalized blueprint that prioritizes your life first and ensures happiness, fulfillment, and wellbeing remain a cornerstone of your life.

Session 3: Optimizing Your Work Rhythms

“The relentless overload that’s wearing us down is generated by a belief that ‘good’ work requires increasing busyness—faster responses to email and chats, more meetings, more tasks, more hours.”
– Cal Newport, Slow Productivity: The Lost Art of Accomplishment without Burnout

Discovering your optimal work rhythms is key to achieving fulfillment and sustained and meaningful productivity. In this session, we will explore how to design your ideal workday, work week, and work season, tailored to your unique strengths and preferences. You will uncover insights into your best daily routines, project cycles, and seasonal rhythms, which also align with your big dreams, career aspirations, and personal goals. The goal of this final session is to develop a roadmap to maximize your professional performance while maintaining balance and satisfaction in your work life.

Session 4: Individualized Coaching and Troubleshooting

“The way of the Essentialist means living by design, not by default…
Remember that if you don’t prioritize your life someone else will.”
– Greg Mckeown, Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less

In this tailored coaching session, participants will have the opportunity to delve deeper into their findings from the previous workshop sessions, addressing specific challenges and clarifying insights gained. Whether focusing on refining their health and wellbeing blueprint, fine-tuning work rhythms and career plans, or further developing their dream-driven life strategy, this session provides personalized guidance and troubleshooting. Through one-on-one or small group discussions, participants will receive targeted support to transform obstacles into opportunities and ensure their life blueprint aligns with their evolving aspirations. This session aims to empower individuals to confidently navigate their personal and professional paths with clarity and purpose.
