Biopharma Trek to Boston
November 12 – 14, 2018
myCHOICE is excited to offer our fifth professional development trek! Six trainees from the University of Chicago will travel to Boston for 2 days of site visits to a wide variety of research companies in that city. Trek participants will also engage in social networking opportunities, including meet-ups with trainees from Boston University and M.I.T. and a UChicago Alumni Reception hosted by the Medical and Biological Sciences Alumni Association.

Registration Requirements & Expectations of myCHOICE Trek Participants:

All applicants must be a trainee in the UChicago Biological Sciences Division or have graduated or ended their postdoctoral training in the BSD within the past two years.

Become a myCHOICE Trainee by submitting the myCHOICE Trainee Application.

Complete the myCHOICE Trek application. We strongly suggest that applicants consult with career advisors at UChicagoGRAD during the production of their application materials. Make your appointment with Briana Konnick or Mike Tessel here.

Write a reflection on your experience in a short statement (< 500 words) upon completion of the trek.

myCHOICE will cover the airfare and hotel accommodations related to the trip. The trainee is responsible for daily transportation, meals, and any other expenses.
