Data Science & Engineering Trek 2022

myCHOICE is excited to offer a new Bay Area Data Science & Engineering Trek. UChicago trainees will be selected to travel to the Bay Area for 3 days of site visits, highlighting careers in data science, data engineering, software development, machine learning, modeling, and more. Potential and developing site visits include:
- Genentech
- Maze Therapeutics
- Oracle
- PubMatic
- Uber
- …and more to come!

Graduate students, postdoctoral scientists, or alumni (within 2 years of departing the university) from the BSD, PSD, or PME are welcome to apply. Preference will be given to individuals in their 5th year of training and beyond. Applications from 1st and 2nd year graduate students will not be considered.

Upon completion of the trek, reflect on your experience in a short statement (<500 words).

myCHOICE will cover the airfare and hotel accommodations related to the trip. The trainee is responsible for daily transportation, meals, and any other expenses.
