Leadership Design Lab (Virtual)

The Leadership Design Lab employs design thinking to address one of the most challenging aspects of self-leadership: designing your life and career. In this four-session series, students will learn about the processes and mindsets of design thinking, draft three potential blueprints—‘Odyssey Plans’—for their future, and begin prototyping their way forward. The Lab offers a framework, tools, and most importantly a place and a community of peers and mentors to propel you forward in your UChicago journey.

Before registering consider the following commitments that will help to ensure the most successful workshop experience:

  • The small group nature of the series will rely on engaged participation from everyone; we expect that participants will come prepared to actively engage in group discussion.
  • The four workshops build on each other so the most value will be had from attending all four sessions. By registering, participants are committing to attend all four sessions in the series.
  • Given that participants only have four hours online together, there will be roughly one hour of pre-work for each workshop. Please consider this before registering.
  • Participants will have two optional opportunities to meet with a Leadership Coach.
