Marco Allodi, Ph.D.

Manager, Bain & Company

Dr. Allodi is a manager at Bain & Company. He joined Bain in December 2020 and has worked with clients on strategy & operational excellence in a variety of industries, from natural resources to healthcare. Prior to Bain, Dr. Allodi was an A.O. Beckman postdoctoral fellow in chemistry at the University of Chicago from 2015-2020 and earned his Ph.D. in chemical physics from Caltech. During his academic career, his research focused on using laser spectroscopy to understand the quantum properties of excited-state chemical systems.

Youjin Lee, Ph.D.

Associate, McKinsey & Company

Dr. Lee brings three years of experience as an Associate Consultant at McKinsey, specializing in Advanced Industries with a focus on semiconductors and future mobility. She earned her PhD in Chemistry from the University of Chicago in 2020 after her undergraduate training in chemistry from UC-Berkley. As a doctoral trainee. Dr. Lee focused on development of a novel tool to study of basic cellular physiology and cellular entry mechanism and generation of a particle detection algorithm.

Avelino De Leon, Ph.D.

Senior Consultant, Life Sciences at Guidehouse

Dr. Avelino De Leon received his PhD in Molecular Metabolism and Nutrition from UChicago in 2021 prior to joining the Life Sciences practice at Guidehouse Inc. In his current role, he provides commercial and portfolio strategy support to biotechnology and pharmaceutical clients of all sizes, and brings a combination of technical expertise, industry knowledge, and business acumen to his engagements. His work focuses on providing tailored solutions to the many challenges faced by the industry today.

Phong Nguyen, Ph.D.

Consultant, Boston Consulting Group

Dr. Phong Nyguyen earned his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Rochester in 2022, focused on determining the effects of recombinant Lysyl Oxidase on tendon mechanical properties and cell behaviors. Following his doctoral training, Dr. Nyguyen has joined Boston Consulting Group, where he provides insights and solutions to clients in different sectors.
